about me
Bridging the gap between complex UX strategy and functional front-end architecture.
I’m Daria Newmann, an LA-based designer and engineer working at the intersection of product strategy and front-end development. I specialize in translating complex enterprise requirements into software that feels intuitive and functions reliably.
My approach is rooted in an analytical mindset developed during my career in finance. I don’t just build interfaces; I design systems that scale. I focus on reducing user friction while ensuring the underlying front-end architecture is clean, maintainable, and technically sound.
I’ve worked across consumer, agency, and enterprise teams, leading UX direction, designing interfaces, and building maintainable front-end architecture. My experience spans product UX, design systems, and front-end engineering, with hands-on work in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.
Having navigated agency and corporate environments, I’m comfortable moving between high-level UX strategy and hands-on engineering. Whether I’m defining a design system or shipping code in modern frameworks, my goal is to build tools that solve real problems for real people.
Away from the screen, I spend my time traveling and outdoors—experiences that remind me that the most effective solutions are usually the ones that prioritize simplicity.
