my first freelance project written in python using django with custom functioning ecommerce
i designed this portfolio for an up and coming designer and photographer in los angeles who artistic style at the time was "late night crazy vibes". i wanted a dark themed website paired with vibrant art, so that it gave a feeling of looking at bright neon sides at night.
leveling up
i was learning web development with plain html, css and javascript but i wanted to challenge and really understand how the backend and frontend work together. this project taught me how to write in python and work with frameworks/ libraries. i used django and bootstrap to help build out the ecommerce side and used bootstrap for photo galleries. currently the ecommerce side is shut off because she is not selling any items.
